She’s Feeling Blue. Original Blue Crab Painting framed with Architectural Salvage.

She's feeling blue, and she couldn't be happier.

A bold blue crab with red-tipped claws strikes a pose against a glowing yellow background in this original acrylic painting. Loose, expressive brushwork gives her loads of personality, and the pun in the title is a nod to the fact that blue is simply a blue crab's color. She's exactly who she's supposed to be.

Painted by hand in acrylic on canvas by New Orleans artist Paige DeBell, this one-of-a-kind piece is framed in a reclaimed architectural salvage frame with a weathered sage-green finish and its original vintage hardware, including the old latch and drawer pull. The chipped paint and aged wood are part of its history, so no two frames are ever alike.
