Meet Pinky and Pinkette, inspired by the rare pink dolphins spotted in Louisiana waters. While I still hope to see them during my morning walks along the River, I painted this joyful duo leaping from thick, expressive layers of acrylic paint—capturing the energy and magic they bring to coastal folklore.

This original artwork was created on a salvaged panel from a hurricane-damaged New Orleans home. The original weathered blue paint adds coastal charm and authentic Southern character. The raised molding becomes part of the composition, enhancing the dimensional illusion of the water and waves.

Created by New Orleans artist Paige DeBell, this piece is a celebration of Louisiana wildlife, local history, and architectural reclamation. Sealed and ready to hang, it’s a bold statement for lovers of marine life, coastal decor, or uniquely Southern fine art.

The artwork is created on a salvaged door panel from a hurricane-damaged home in New Orleans, where the weathered blue paint and natural wood grain echo the colors and textures of the sea. This piece celebrates both the beauty of marine life and the story held in reclaimed materials—nature and history entwined.

A perfect statement for nature lovers, coastal homes, or anyone drawn to the rhythm of the water and the resilience of the South.
