Mardi Gras has been my happy place for years, and this pelican is my love letter to the uptown parades that I look forward to every Carnival season. She’s flying off with some of my favorite real-life treasures I actually caught over the years: a glittering Krewe of Muses shoe, a classic Zulu coconut, and Iris sunglasses that have definitely seen some wild times.

This mischievous Mardi Gras thief is painted on a reclaimed door panel, 24” x 18”, ready to bring a little parade-season chaos into your living room all year long.
